Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information Eliza Is Fit (DBA, based in La Verne, CA) collects, how it is used, and your choices. It applies to elizaisfit.com and personal training services. It does not cover third-party sites or apps (Trainerize, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).

1. Information Collected

You provide: Name, email, phone, booking details, health and fitness information (PAR-Q, injuries, goals, measurements, progress notes), emergency contact, messages, and any testimonials or photos you choose to share.

Automatically: IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, general location, and campaign data via cookies and Google Analytics 4. Hostinger uses cookies for the site, cart, and checkout. Embedded YouTube videos may set cookies. QR codes and links with UTM tags show which campaign brought you here but do not identify you personally.

From others: Payment processors (success/failure and limited card details), booking/coaching apps, or a parent/guardian for minor clients.

2. Health Information

Health and fitness data is sensitive. It is voluntary, used only to provide safe training, not sold or used for advertising, and shared only with service providers that store it (such as Trainerize), emergency contacts or responders if needed, or as required by law. I am a personal trainer, not a healthcare provider, so this information is not covered by HIPAA.

3. How Information Is Used

  • Respond to inquiries and book sessions

  • Process payments and keep purchase records

  • Create and adjust workouts and general nutrition guidance

  • Keep you safe and respond to emergencies

  • Send service messages about sessions or purchases

  • Send newsletters and tips only if you sign up (unsubscribe anytime)

  • Improve the site and understand usage

  • Post testimonials or photos only with your permission

  • Prevent fraud and comply with the law

4. Who Information Is Shared With

Trusted service providers process information on my behalf:

  • Hostinger — website, forms, email signup, and checkout

  • Stripe, Apple Pay, and Venmo — payments

  • Google (Analytics, Calendar, YouTube) — analytics, booking, and embedded video

  • Trainerize — workouts, check-ins, and progress

  • Cal.com — online booking (when used)

  • Brevo — email newsletters (when used)

  • Instagram — only what you share there

Information may also be shared for safety, legal compliance, with your consent, or if the business is transferred.

5. Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Some site features may not work if cookies are blocked. Opt out of Google Analytics here: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Other companies are not knowingly allowed to track you across sites except for the analytics and embedded content described above.

6. No Selling or Sharing for Targeted Ads

Personal information is not sold and is not shared for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law. Information of anyone under 16 is not sold or shared.

7. Email Marketing

If you join the email list, your address is stored to send newsletters and tips. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in emails or by contacting support@elizaisfit.com. Service messages about booked sessions or purchases may still be sent.

8. How Long Information Is Kept

  • Contact inquiries (non-clients): 12 months

  • Client records, health information, and waivers: while you are a client and for 7 years after the last session

  • Payment and tax records: 7 years

  • Newsletter list: until you unsubscribe (plus a suppression record)

  • Analytics data: per Google Analytics settings (typically up to 14 months)

Information is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

9. Security

Reasonable safeguards are used, including reputable providers, encryption for payments, and limited access to health information. No method is 100% secure. If a breach affects you, notification will be made as required by California law.

10. Children's Privacy

The site is not directed to children under 13 and personal information is not knowingly collected from them online. Clients under 18 train only with a parent or guardian’s consent. Information of anyone under 16 is not sold or shared.

11. Your California Privacy Rights

California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, limit use of sensitive health information, and opt out of marketing. Requests can be made via the Contact page or email to support@elizaisfit.com (subject: “Privacy Request”). Identity will be verified. Responses are provided within 45 days. There is no discrimination for exercising these rights.

California residents may also ask once a year whether personal information was shared with third parties for their direct marketing (it is not).

12. Visitors Outside California

Services are based in California and information is stored in the United States. By using the site or services you agree that your information may be processed in the U.S.

13. Changes

This policy may be updated. The new version will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date. Important changes will be communicated to current clients and subscribers by email or site notice.
